The next Area Conference will be held May 22-24, 2009. There will not be a conference in 2008. Our Area Conference is an enrichment and educational meeting of Leaders, Leader Applicants, members, healthcare professionals and special guests. It is also the major fund raiser for the Area. Planning will begin in September 2008. La Leche League is an international nonprofit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Monthly group meetings are held throughout Southern California and Nevada to discuss breastfeeding and related parenting topics. La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.
